Default WW2 Tabby nightvision monocular

Hi.
It is with some regret that I am selling my 1944 WW2 Tabby Night vision Monocular.
This particular one is just about perfect, it's not seen active service which in itself is unusual.
These Night vision units come with a sealed case containing a Zamboni Pile Battery producing 3000 volts for the special tube, the batteries would be OK for about 6 months use but unused for a few years.
This one produced some results about 6 years ago when I bought it but it now does not work. This does not detract from the value as by now none will work. It's possible to open them with care and fit a simple inverter to supply 3kv but collectors prefer them in original condition.
I'm offering this here first as I know some members are into military stuff, I Paid £140 for it 6 years ago but unused ones in that condition are worth more that that.
I'm offering it here for the £140 including insured carriage or very near offers.

See this Youtube clip from another collector for more info.
