Excellent! Well I hope to enter my Rare Leyland Prototype in a Rover\MG\BL rally soon! Alison can lay claim to an entitlement to do so; David Bache said the Audi A2 is the son of ECV3!

I've always been faintly interested by the A2 - there aren't many modern cars that interest me (It's different to simply liking it - I'm intrigued by it). It deserved better, and had it looked nicer it would have done quite well. Imagine i it had been done as a retro DKW 1000...

Cheers! Yes I have always been interested in them too. A mate had one as a courtesy car about 14 years ago. Since then I've been interested! Alison is battle scarred however she is clean and honest!

Because they are rare, she still gets looked at- not a car for shy people- and lots of questions get asked!

And with the 1.4 TDI developing 195Nm of torque, Alison is quite nippy!

A2 is the world's first mass produced aluminium car too, so I own a slice of motoring history!
