Hope you all noticed how slim you had to be to enter the cockpit between the two pilot seats, it was easy for me when I had to, I never was that fat

If you like the program there is a documentary on the the V bombers very interesting and what our country's policy was during the cold war.

Very true, I remember on one visit to BAE systems we were talking about the English Electric Lightning - as he had a picture on his office wall - and was told that it will never fly in Europe again as the necessary approvals paperwork no longer exists.

I understand that no such restrictions apply in the USA however.

Enjoyed the programme, I grew up with the Vulcan flying over head in Cheshire, brought back a lot of memories.
