I'd imagine you could. Perhaps you might land up with problems on a 64 bit system.
I'm going to run T4 on a laptop and a desktop (hopefully). Now well on the way to getting it all up and running soon.

Trevor, are you using PATA or SATA in the destop ? I'm sure I have a couple of matching caddies left over from my studio. Still in their boxes. Pretty sure they are PATA. Any use to you if I can dig them out ?

Hi Nige.
Yes I'm using the older Parallel ATA drives. I've two 160gb drives in the machine at the moment.
It's funny, I bought the system in 1998 when I worked for Mastercare and gradually added to it and upgraded overtime. I then got a Dell desktop and went onto Ubuntu and eventually Mint which is the latest version 17.2. Although the Dell has SATA drives the overall spec of the two machines are very similar. The old XP machine goes like the wind and has been very good.
Any spare drives would be most welcome Nige, they never go wrong.
The next thing on the list is a couple of USB repeaters as I want to keep the desktop PC in the shed while I do diagnostics.
