What a lovely shot, and on my doorstep well almost.
My village Tarbolton has many Burns connections, The Bachelor's Club, Wullies Mill and of course the Lodge in which he was depute master.

Strangely enough although there were monuments to Burns all over the World it was only recently that the local Tenants & Residents Association built a memorial at the cross to commemorate the Bard.
