Default No acceleration - Check engine

Got a bit of an issue guys. I had an issue with the cruise control so I had a fiddle around under the pedals and clipped back on the plugs at the top of the pedals. But when I went to go out later on the engine started fine but there was no acceleration at all and the check engine warning appeared on the dash. I've had a look to see if there are any plugs i've dislodged but can't see anything. I'm baffled. Help..........

Hi Stephen, have a look at the throttle demand pedal connector

Failing that you will need a new pedal sadly.......

Well the accelerator demand plug is in place leaving me well and truly baffled as to what could have caused this. If anyone has any other valuable advice then I'm all ears as I'm lost without my car right now
