Default ZTT rear wipe issue

hi all so now I know the motor can smash the back window of the ztt (05 model) I have an issue , the spindle but that sits behind the wiper , but stays on the glass portion when opened is jammed , it moves one 1cm then jams , is there any way I can free this off ? I watched it move then jam , then the window looked like it was bulging out then POP DAM !!

mucho money spent I didn't have after xmas lol o well never mind !

Thread moved as requested are you saying that your rear wiper is stiff and will not move even when pushed by hand with the tail gate glass opened?

Right, mine was the same when I first got the tourer. Wiper arm off, then sprayed loads of WD40 on the spindle. Then wiper arm back on and manually moved back and forth with the tail gate glass up, slowly freeing up the mechanism, again used more WD40 as I went with it still attached. Eventually, the wiper action loosened and was able to be driven by the motor, ever since it's been perfect and has plenty of play now so the motor doesn't struggle.
