The symphony loom has a 17 pin BMW connector on one end, to connect to the car loom (in place of the Harmony), and ISO connectors on the other end to connect to the Symphony unit.

That is the ISO Adapter Lead you are referring to, not the Loom.... Which what has been bought, what Zero2 needs is the correct Changer Loom for the Symphony because the Changer & Loom he has is for the Harmony.

No it isn't, Zero2 has that but wants to connect the CD changer so he needs the proper Symphony loom instead - which he is getting from the scrappy - it has the 17 Pin BMW connector on one end, ISO connectors on the other end and the connectors for the CD changer.

I seem to to recall that when Dave (Duotone) did mine for me, he had to connect one of the plugs from the BMW loom into the old harmony one, and the other into the plug on the end of the CD changer...

If it was the Symphony loom, it plugs into the 17 pin BMW connecter on the car loom that was connected to the Harmony unit - the other end plugs into the Symphony unit. It also has the Yellow/Green/Blue mini ISO connectors which also plug in to the Symphony (the Blue one is for the CD changer) and the connector that plugs into the changer.

This is what the changer lead looks like.

This lead has a blue mini iso [for the Symphony] at one end and a oblong black plug [for the changer at the other].

I made this lead so long because someone wanted their changer in the boot.

Thanks for the replies gentleman. I'll get down the scrappy and pull the loom out and go from there
