Boot leaks

Anyone out there know how to solve it please. As she (the wife) is moaning about her stuff getting wet.

Don't go there with what's her stuff doing in my boot, I like a fool have said this, but she heard and I still have the bruise

Check the rear lamps as leaks are often found through the gaskets, also the boot rubber, check to see if it has any rips or tears
