The blue wire marked "Remote" may be remote switching for an external amp, although I don't know for sure. Check it out before ordering your cables.
On my Sony unit there is a blue wire with white stripe marked "Amp Remote" so be careful. There is a 3.5 mm jack for hard wired remote control from steering wheel.
Best to be safe than sorry.

My patch lead arrived today and its all fitted and working.
Quite surprised how many functions the 3 button stalk has!

Good to hear, so much better having steering wheel controls working, and yes, I was supprised how many functions are available.

Just one more quicky, are the controls themselves supposed to be lit? cos mine aint.

No, they're not lit as standard, but someone is working on a modification to do this now.
