I change mine every year as part of the service..... And I get mine for less than a tenner May not be a Rover part but usually a recognised marque So keep an eye on e-bay etc as they frequently pop up, so grab while you can and hold ready for the next service

I've never had any trouble with the ones I use

The diesel fuel filters are a lot cheaper than the intank petrol filters that the OP is after.
