Definately a bad thing....

I would certainly dispute the comment that ebay have done this so 'we don't get scammed'

taking away information which allows us to make our own decision is not 'helping us at all'
How exactly does this 'protect us'.

I would rather be armed with as much of the information as possible ...

How exactly am I to be 'scammed', that they are protecting me from???

Nope I'm with Keith, Its not how I want things to be heading...

Just been reading a few Ebay threads re the change on Ebay itself

Most people consider Ebay have done this for one reason only, to maximises their income by allowing Shill bidding to become almost impossible to detect however perhaps some healthy competition is on the Horizon
