Default MOT fail, parts advice

MG ZT-T 1.8t

suspension arm ball joint dust cover, have been told garages will just use a universal part (by the place that supplies the garages, they only sell em in big assorted boxes) does anyone know off hand what size i will need

AND rear shock leaking . . . what cars can i get the parts from eg, is rover suspension the same will engine size make a difference and does it have to be off another estate

Lower ball joint "boots" can be (or used to be) obtained from an X Part dealer.

i just need the answers to the questions i asked, i can do the work myself fine i just wanted to know what parts i need without having to take them off to compare

we have shock on the shelf and dust cover size is the largest one they do 16mm to 25 mm againi have on the shelf can do the lot delivered for 20 quid regards sean

need rear passanger shock and 2 dust covers?
