Default 2005 LPG MG ZT 190 SE Moonshine Monogram **SOLD**

For Sale 2005 LPG MG ZT 190 SE in rare Monogram Moonshine Chromescent for spares or repairs.

Car has covered 69,900 miles and has MOT until November 2014.

This car was the only ZT 190 made in Moonshine and 1 of only 5 Moonshine ZTs, the colour certainly turns heads wherever it goes.

The car is SE spec with the SE pack so features include;

Xenon Lights
Highline Navigation
Harman Kardon Sound System
Electric Heated Memory Seats
Powerfold Mirrors
Electric Rear Blind
Cruise Control
Parking Sensors
Auto Dimming Mirror
Climate Control
Electric Windows All Round

The car also has several upgrades including;

Certified LPG Conversion registered with the LPG Register
Private Number Plate M600 LPG which will be included in the sale
Cat Back Powerflow Stainless Exhaust
Stainless Mesh Front Grilles
BM24 Radio Tuner
Rover 75 IPK Surround with Chrome Dial Rings as well as Digital Speedo enabled
Rhodium Dashboard
Illuminated Sunvisors
K&N Airfilter

The car has plenty of history and receipts, the engine was changed at 68k for a unit from a 57k 190 that had very recently had new cambelts and water pump before being involved in an impact. I personally inspected all belts before fitting the engine to the car and they were new.

At the time of the engine replacement a Borg and Beck clutch was fitted with a Genuine MGR Slave Cylinder to save having to drop everything out again if it failed in the future. A new bottom engine mount was also fitted at this time.

The LPG filters were all changed less than 5000 miles ago and the LPG injectors were refurbished at the same time. The car runs perfectly on LPG with no problems and as smoothly as it runs on petrol with no noticeable decrease in performance.

All tyres have plenty of tread, even the badges on the car are all new being replaced only a couple of months ago.

The Bad Bits

The bodywork is generally in good condition however there are 2 areas of lacquer peel on the bonnet. These have been present ever since I’ve had the car and have not got any worse; it was always my intention to have them re-lacquered.

The mounting for the offside driveshaft is damaged and in need of repair. This could be an easy job for somebody that has the ability to repair it. The damage is at the point the shaft mounts to the bottom end of the engine, the 2 threaded bolt holes have split.

As the driveshaft and exhaust front pipe are currently removed from the car it cannot be driven away.

Due to the arrival of an MG6 in the family one of the other MG’s has to go.

I am offering the car for anybody that wishes to take it on for £1000.

If the car fails to make the asking price it will be broken for parts.

Can I just say thank you for taking the time to actually capture the 'flip' effect of this paint. I've seen pictures of this colour elsewhere and it just looked like matte white with a slight pearl.

It's a lot more 'colourful' than I expected.

Good luck with the sale

Have seen Mark's ZT a few times its does not look like white at all. It looks like plain silver until the moment the suns on it then its like all the colours of the rainbow.

It a great looking car, I'm also thinking of maybe buying it.
