'97 Ford Mondeo CD Changer
Hi,
Does anyone know the OEM for this? If it was Alpine, would it work with a 2004 Hi-Line? Godfer (Sid) |

All depends on the connector, although this may be able to be spliced!

I need a Magazine (silly money it seems to me). I have a Mondeo changer...if that is compatible, happy days! I'm off to the North West meet on Sunday. Here's hoping I can get some sage advice there! Godfer (Sid) |

If it's just the cassete for the changer then I'd say a good 99% you can use the cartridge out of your mondeo changer in the alpine one. In both our tourers, we've highline changers, running cartridges from the VDO CD Changers.

I would've thought they were 'generic'. Yet, I am reluctant to try in case in jams...silly I know!

Tried a magazine at the North West meet today...changer seems to spool through discs (lots of mechanical whirring noises) yet is not recognised on display. Further investigation needed. My ICE guy is 'round in the 'morrow to fit my active Sub...shall ask him to give it a 'coat o' lookin' at'!
