Default ZTT-190 - fitting a K&N

I see that there is a K&N to fit the standard air cleaner box on the ZT. Does fitting a K&N require engine management modifications? I ask, because fitting K&N to earlier cars usually requires changing the needles to get the mixture right.

In a word - nope

There is no modifications required in either fitting an uprated panel filter (such as the K&N) or a whole new induction kit (such as a Pipercross cone). The engine ECU will manage all the mixtures just perfectly without any modification or retuning. You will notice the car being a but more responsive on the throttle but that's only is a good thing and a sign of the improved breathing
