Car Of The Month :
July 2019

'A Classic In Every Sense' by Stephen Fussell

I thought I'd share with you my cherished Rover 75 which I've owned since 2005, it’s an Ex-MG Rover Group registered vehicle which is finished in Metallic Firefrost Red. So far it has covered just 38,000 miles from new.

The car was assembled at Longbridge in February 2005 and registered the last few days of that month, I’d imagine to raise the sales figures before the March plate change.

It's a Rover 75 Classic trim 131 PS 2.0 diesel fitted with optional premium Grille and 18” Vortex wheels.

She was built to the later 2005 Classic spec with side curtain airbags, piping on the Axis velour seats, electric rear windows and the higher powered 131 CDTi engine.

I purchased the vehicle after MG Rover collapsed along with a Grey Rover 75 Classic SVP, which I sold to a collector in Gloucester in 2014 with 35,000 miles on it.

I have no plans to part with this one for the foreseable future however.
