Yes I believe they are handed/back & front, but it not bad a job, just time consuming. Had to do both passanger doors when I got the 75.

Ok folks, had the same problem and replaced the latch today but still have "door open" warning.
I accept it's possible I've bought a latch with the same problem, but is there anything else could give a "door open" warning? |

Excellent how to, you can save poping the bar from the door lock handle by uncliping the white/clear plastic grip as in the pic below Arctic.

Thanks for the 'How to', an old thread I know but looks like I need to do this to my n/s rear door.

Sorry to bump an old thread, I wanted to say thanks for an excellent how-to on this.
I have today followed the instructions and successfully changed the front nearside actuator on my ZT-T. It took about an hour and a half but that was because I forgot to connect up the outside handle first time round so had to take the door apart a second time. Oops. Other than that it was relatively hassle free - the trickiest part was extracting the old actuator, the replacement slipped in a lot more easily. Two things I noticed, firstly the front doors have two clips in the middle of the panel rather than one. Also be careful that the plastic bit at the actuator end of the internal handle cable is replaced securely - it sits neatly in some grooves near the edge of the unit. As I was working my neighbour popped out and said they'd recently spent £200 getting the same job done on their 2006 Skoda. A second hand actuator plus delivery from ebay cost me less than a tenth of that, and it would have been even cheaper if I'd had time to scour round a scrappy. |
