[QUOTE=m_r_shaw;607253]Wedd, I've seen those too, and if it comes down to it I'll have to splash out on new, although with a child imminent I'd have prefered second hand! Ha Ha....

Neil, I've cleaned the washer bottle, it was filthy. I assume there is a 'How too' as for how I'd check the fan???

Very quick way, although it does induce a lot of swearing and hitting the sterring wheel Basil Faulty style lol......

Thanks windrush. It seems wheel arch liners with inspection covers are like hens teeth tho?

I was only up Thorton yesterday!!!! TBH, the bumper is relativley undamaged aside from a few scratches wnd on the wing where it's pulled off then popped out, so, luckily should be ok? Just the undertray and arch liners needed. Do you have a phone number for that breakers BBM?

Agreed Kev, but it happened just as I pulled off the East lancs, into my road, and for those of you unfamilar with said road, It links Liverpool docks with the M6 and even at that time of night 11 pm, theres no way I'd be looking under my car with 40 tonners racing past at 60!!!!!! I put the blame squarly on the garage who had the car in for the clutch and never attached the undertray properly, but not much I can do as it was nearly 6 weeks ago!

HI
I too neally had the same problem with my under tray i had changed the oil and cleared the plenums at the same time after replacing the tray with said old fasteners there begins the mistake after taking it a drive not to far luckly when i got back my wife could hear a noise as i reversed on the driveway, i got out only to see the undertary draging on the floor the fastners had worked loose because of corrosion so once undone made them not fit back so good.

So when you fit new undertray fit new fasteners. have added some photos of the ones i put together from washers and tap rubber washer with self tappers and new fixing clips any B&Q Wikes etc. hope this helps good luck Arctic.

I'm probably in the wrong part of the country for you but I have a Rover 75 driver's side front wheel arch liner in the shed if it's any use to you (inc. hatch).

Bought it in error after finding out the ZT ones are different.

if you are still after an undertray try an email to

[email protected]

Got a new one from them and it came with the fasteners for £49.99 plus £14.99 pp. Notice they have one on ebay for the same price ( will try to put the link in)

Hope this helps and sorry to hear about your mishap

Thanks for the offer, but mine's a ZT too, and up until you telling me that, I too didn't know either, so thank you also for stopping me from wasting money on a 75 set of arch liners!!!

Arctic, very good, informative pictures, and yes, compared to the £20 for the MGR undertray ''fitting kit'' on ebay, the B&Q / Wilko's version will be a lot cheaper and probably last longer!!!!
