Ferrari take the Pole today.
Mercedes looking a bit more competitive in qualifying but still a lot to do to catch Ferrari and Red Bull. Roll on tomorrow

Can't help but feel Lewis was robbed last season.

George Russell must be a bit peeved. Waited to get into a winning car to find out (at the moment) its almost a midfielder, especially being beaten by an Alpha driven by the man he replaced!

From what my son was telling me ( he works for Alpina at Enstone) they were expecting a lot more problems. Apparently this E10 fuel is a big problem, overheating , pump caviation and generally a pain the proverbial.
Apparently they are even considering A/C systems to cool the fuel. It is not technically allowed but they are working on ways to find a way of cooling the fuel system within the regulations, its benefit will be increased power as well as better reliabilaty. The lift pumps are going to be a thing we hear a lot about if they dont come up with a way of getting around the problem. The scary thing is we are expected to use this E10 fuel in our cars, no wonder there are people who are having problems. |
