I Can confirm we are attending along with some members of the MGRSE, I assume you have a booking as I couldn't get on the book a table tab on the web page as they are saying there closed hopefully this is a glitch

Hi Bonnie,

They are closed for refurbishment at the moment.
The following message is on their Welcome page.

"We are now closed and reopen from the 9th of November 2019. we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."

You cannot book Breakfast tables on line. I left a message with them last week and will go there personally next week and make sure everything is OK.

I have a plan B if they are not open on the 17th. I will switch the meet to the Staverton at Maidenhead. Have you any idea how many of the MGRSE crew are coming?

Peter.

Hi Peter and all

Sorry, can't make this one ... wedding anniversary that day and I can't persuade wife, kids, grandkids and dog to come to the Ugly for breakfast!
Well ... the dog probably would!
Looks like I'm gonna miss a good one too!
John

Default Ugly Duckling Refurb complete and open

I called in this morning and confirmed the booking for Sunday around 22 of us.
As per previous threads I cannot book Frimley for 8th Dec due to Santa being a flaming nuisance and being there that morning. BAH HUMBUG!!!! or thoughts to that effect. Feral excited Kids I want to avoid.
However the Duckling can take our booking. Will discuss with you all on Sunday morning.
I have avoided 15th Dec as PeciUrwin and KeithSta are on a jolly I.O.W W/E.
