Just a small note the Alpine head unit uses its own plug, once the head unit is removed if you fish around the bottom of the hole at the cables you should find a redundant pair of radio connectors that may well plug straight into your new head unit.
The alpine head unit is only a head unit the CD unit is in the glove Box and the radio And TV tuners are in the boot along with the sat nav. Over the years I must have replaced half a dozen head units and the hidden plugs were a god send
