Lightbulb For Sale Retro Fit Kit Integrated Coolant Level Sensor

Retro-fit Kit Integrated Coolant Level Sensor, Harness, Tank & Cap For RHD Vehicles

The ultimate early warning low coolant level system for the discerning Rover 75 and MG ZT owner, which functions exactly as MG Rover had originally intended.

A limited batch has been manufactured of these brand-new assemblies which come ready to install into your vehicle. The system gives the owner complete piece of mind when it comes to coolant level management. However, it does not mitigate against regular maintenance checks under the bonnet that would normally be carried out by a diligent owner. For owners that never look under the bonnet then it can only help your case!

Fits: All RHD 75 and ZT Models K-Series 1.8, 1.8T, KV6 2.0, 2.5 and M47 2.0D

• Low line instrument pack

• High line instrument pack

The assembly is straight forward plug and play. A simple straightforward install with detailed instructions are supplied.

Function:
If leakage in the cooling system occurs the fluid level starts to drop, the warning light icon illuminates within the IPK display unit itself. The user does not have to continually be distracted from the road ahead by continuously looking down or to the side to monitor changes such as an aftermarket digital or analogue display. The user is warned immediately that the fluid level in the coolant tank has dropped without them having to take their eyes of the road ahead.

In addition to the built-in baffles within the expansion tank which minimise the coolant sloshing around during braking, cornering or accelerating the warning light has a 20 second delay built in before illuminating which stops any spurious warning light illumination.

If the fluid level drops beneath the MIN mark in the tank by a mere 120cc the icon in the IPK will illuminate.

If a clutter free, original look to your dashboard is paramount, coupled with prolonging your engines life then this retro-fit coolant level sensor is for you.

Safety Features:
• Engine longevity
• No distractions for the user, using head up (IPK) warning display

Retro-fit Kit Includes: All parts brand new
• PCF101495 Coolant expansion tank (beige) with sensor fitted
• PAD000070 Expansion bottle cap with o-rings. 140kpa
• Sheathed twin core harness with earth terminal lug and connector to IPK
• Plenum chamber bulkhead rubber grommet
• Tie-wraps
• Air pressure and function tested upon assembly

Sales Price: £75.00 plus £9.90 P&P via Royal Mail first class 1 day delivery signed for UK land locations

I would certainly buy this! But who would I get to fit it in Mid Wales? Not up to DIY at my age. If you can train someone to fit this at Nano Meets I will go for it. Quite happy to pay for fitting.

Default Black Tank With Sensor & Harness For Sale

After dissecting the early model black tank it was discovered that it was not possible to fit the level sensor to it without splitting the tank open and bonding the lid back on. This proved to be an issue as the material required ultrasonic welding. Hence I have painted this original cream version in black.

The grey pressure cap has a 140kpa (not 100kpa) rating the same as the cream tank.

Selling for £87.00 plus £9.90 1st class Royal mail signed for, UK mainland only.

Hi Gary. I will buy this if it will fit my 2004 1.8 118bhp facelift.

If it will, I will have it.

It will for sure fit your vehicle the 1.8 facelift, but it will be the incorrect colour. If you want to retain the original look then the beige tank would be the one you need.

These kits fit all 75/ZT petrol and diesel models.

I thought the black tank may appeal to an early model 75 owner. Perhaps I should have made up a few more of them in black by the sound of it as there have been a few enquiries on the black tank too.

Perhaps Jules (Trader) up in Conwy could be a consideration for you? Draining some coolant out of the cars system may not be something that is easily done at a Nano meet, I'm not saying it couldn't but........

Hi Gary.

If you have any in beige I will have one, as I thought you only had a black tank left, but if you have a beige tank with the level sensor I will still buy one.
