It sounds like an aeroplane
I was tinkering about in the drive yesterday, when the next door but 1 neighbour appeared- at first I though she was going to ask me to turn the radio down, but she was asking whether the clio was up for sale as I had the V8 and the missus has the mini, her lad is after a new car, and as she put it " your cars are always well looked after "
anyway we were chatting about cars in general, and the 260, and she said "I can always hear you set off for work in a morning, It sounds like a small aeroplane taking off "

She's not of a "senior" age is she? Noise reminding her of bombing raids etc

Have you noticed Steve the Xpowers have a whisper mode
ie below about 1800 revs. A very quiet car, handy for leaving residential areas early morning or late at night...........until of course you give her some welly.
