Search for a b40 a116 (I think) . A few members have them. I have front and rear, for nearly three years. One common issue (aside from.the firmware which has been sorted now - I bought two more for other cars in the family) is the memory card slot can cause the card to be spring lose. However I have bypassed this by wedging it in, and unclipping the camera to download.

They're neat and unobtrusive, there's even a how to to fit one somewhere in the forum. Best part is , they're down to around 25 quid now.

I will link to a clip tonight when I get home. Others may be ble to do it in the meantime?

I blame sat-nav. Easy to be somewhere unfamiliar and trying to follow ambiguous directions only to find yourself in the wrong lane. Doesn't excuse no indicators but stress of trying not to go the wrong way can mean that basic road discipline is overlooked.

But I will say the best one I've ever seen was a young lady painting her toe nails while sat in traffic

Oh yes and my favourites are ones that speed up as i try to overtake them poorly limited to 55mph grr

That Punto driver deserves a "Cnut of 2018" award!

Sat nav not to blame. Knowing the road where he swung from, it curves against the flow, (and not seeing a sat nav lol), it was a case of simply being in the wrong lane. However, when situation like that happens you slow , indicate and LOOK. It was the not looking that got me, as I was watching him because of the first manoeuvre.

It was 2015 or 16 by the way lol

This a the video from the b40. Am not sure what compression has been done via you tube, but it is better on a screen from the card.

https://youtu.be/pvguEZveZ_Y

The rattling is from the cover of the mount not fitted properly. It's a 170 degree lens, so cars in front appear further than they are. The Peugeot at the end had raced up past the space behind me only to pull in in front as I was watching for the lorry coming up the slip road. I didn't realised she had put her indicator on before her move until I watched the video back.

Ive kept all my near misses on hard drive.....I may make a video eventually...

I usually watch those dash cam channels (when bored on night duty), not once have I ever seen a 75/ZT

Plenty of plonkers though

This one always gets me, just shows how tough our cars are, not even a smashed glass! Club member too if I recall:

Jeez, not seen that one before!

...not even broken glass you say?

I recently saw an image of my previously owned Gold CDTi. Some wally crashed right into the side of it! Looked wrecked, but not a scratch on the family inside thankfully!

The driver is a member on here so I won't share the image of it. It annoyed me with all the hard work I put into her

PS how do you embed YouTube into a post?

If there's nothing in the inside lane, move back over! A personal pet hate.

I had someone on another forum argue for sitting in the middle lane - the world is full of daft. Luckily everyone else soon set him straight!
Nothing worst than having to go L1 > L2 > L3 > L2 > L1 just to overtake an idiot that doesn't know how to use a motorway.
be glad you are allowed to go to lane 3, those of us towing are not allowed when only 3 lanes.
