Places to visit.
Anyone got any suggestions for days out on the Rattler run? Well Allen and I have a few ideas.......................
Paradise Park OAP Bird Sanctuary at Hayle. St. Michaels Mount Penzance. Truro cathedral. Boscastle. The Shard. Stunning views over Cornwall. Charlestown shipwreck centre. Eden project. Traitors Gate. Lost gardens of Heligan. Lindisfarne. Tintagel. King Arthur's legendary home. Views of Merlin's cave. Porth Joke Bay, (aka Polly's Joke).Close to the hotel. Home of the Rattler cider. (I have to wait in the car park as I'm not allowed to sample anything) Portreath. Lanyon Quot. 90'x40' grave dates back to 2500BC Poldark Mining museum. Lands End. The Lizard. Day trip to the Sciliy Isles by boat or light plane. But would have to be an early start. Drive around this stunning coastline stopping off at various watering holes. Just a few ideas, if anyone else can think of something different, then post away. Last year we done the Gold Centre aka Sue's treasure trove, Port Issac but not for long, Spitfire Corner where Ratty's exhaust fell off, Rattler farm where I was left talking to the horse, Bude where Matt failed to see a BRIGHT YELLOW ZT.

Got some more suggestions for days out:
Clovelly. Ilfracombe. The model village in St.Agnes. Boscastle, St.Austell Treacle mines. Appledore Hartland point & quay. Day trip to Matt's store room. Lynmouth 2 mile woodland walk to Porlock Weir. Minehead, nice pub there at the end of the harbour. Minehead steam railway. Cape Cornwall, supposed to be the furthest point west, further than Lands End. Wheel Coates mine at St.Agnes. Lands End. Maritime museum at Falmouth. Watch Bob cry as he fills the V8 up in the petrol station. (Bertie) Bassets cove said to be the home of the legendary Wrath Giants. Grace Darling museum and visit the lighthouse on Farne Island. Boat trip from Seahouses. Pub crawl. Phil & Allen playing the spoons exhibition in the bar. Yes I will be bringing the V8 down from Essex via places of interest. Castle Esso, The Texaco Ranch, Port BP and Shell beach.
