Today I ordered a front ABS sensor and a rear wiper blade for the 75 Tourer that has just come into my life. Hoping to start the process of tidying it up very soon!

Default Touching her up!

Finally! A sunny day to get us in the mood for a bit of touching up. The car's edges are looking much improved. What did you think that I meant? A sunny day here in East Norfolk. Hope it's been good for you. If it stays good, she'll be getting a T cut and a waxing too!

Another coat of chassis black put on the new rear lower arms. 2 down, 2 to go.

After a leisurely renewing of the head gasket, I got to refitting the crankshaft pulley bolt today. At 205Nm, it's damned tight so I wanted to do it safely and as accurately as poss. This 520mm log and four plastic brackets provided perfect support to the 600mm drive extension. A close fitting pipe on the wrench gave me easy leverage. The default locking tool (18G1742/ Laser LZ44120) was used on the flywheel - excellent but expensive.

Don't you hate it when the car get's an "idea"

As it happens, I've boxed up half a dozen H7 for the trip

Had that last week! Have you got snake-like hands, or will you just whip off the bumper and lights for an easier insert!
