Greetings LOCZers - I is back
Safely home after a trouble free trip from Ullswater - glorious sunny day all the way.
We haven't really got a sun tan - but neither are we soaked to the skin. The 11 days could have been drier, they could have been sunnier and they could have been warmer - but you would expect that in the Lake District in September. I'll post a couple of photos later - stunning views from the doorway of the caravan; we were half way up a rather steep fell, looking over the lake and more fells in the distance.
The site boasted its own population of RED squirrels, foxes, deer, barn owls, woodpeckers, buzzards - and we heard them all, but didn't see the squirrels regrettably.

LOL I'll have you know I'm a trend setter for the fine figure of a slob of a man about town
I bet a pair o those shoes with a telephone cable wrapped around them is in 4 figure territory

On Train Sim tonight on the Deutsche Bahn in the rain on a class 155 carrying freight from Andernach to Eifeltor yard.

Some more news re the Llandudno Hotel fiasco, I took Mam & Sis to the clinic this afternoon for an appointment with mam & my sister was telling me the manager of the hotel in Llandudno contacted her today trying to buy her off with a paltry 250 quid ( No GBP sign on this Yankee gaming keyboard ) payment My sister told him that doesn't even cover half of one persons cost for the weeks stay, she told him to shove it where the sun doesn't shine
He said he needs to speak to people higher up the chain then lol.

She also dug into the reviews of that particular hotel & it's got a long history of bad reviews concerning the cleanliness dating back several years.
