The problem is it makes finding the correct bush more difficult, as you need to enquire what it states on the packet regarding where it was made, I also wonder how many of the original 'made in GB' type are left in stock anywhere.

I know where there is at least one pair of new OE upper arms along with an A1 condition ZT rear subframe ..
Another year or two and they will probably be worth more than the complete car.

Sure we had the exact same issue with front arms 10 years ago from x part and rimmer.

Now I just buy the cheapest front arms and if I get two years I accept it. Rear ones tbh I keep best ones off any cars I break and tidy them up best I can now.

Default so much complaining

You should be thankful you can still get anything at all for a 20 year old car. The range of stuff still available is amazing. And if some of it needs some modifying to suit, so much better than not having it at all.

I agree. I've had old cars all my life. Had a 82 Granada Ghia and at 8 yrs old Ford pretty much didn't give a toss and spares had already become hard to find for certain objects.

Same with my 82 Cav and the clubs were rubbish at that point.

Here we have a good club and compared to other marques good parts. Some may be sub par, but at this age getting parts readily is easier than some production models, trust me.

Well impressed with what the community etc does. ☺
