I think my memory must be playing tricks on me with regard to thinking the cars were standard Club spec, but then again, it was 20 years ago....
It's a shame to see the photo above (Trikey ) of a T-reg looking in such a state At Dales we did exactly what dave lincs mentions, and put the Atlantic blue on the road, keeping the Wedgewood car for the showroom. By chance, we had previously sold a Rover 400 which was registered on the no. plate R75 FAF. With the new 75 soon to arrive, we contacted the 400 customer, got them in, offered an amazing deal to part-exchange it, then transferred the plate and put it on our 75 demo. There were some raised eyebrows from the bosses when they saw the trade-in allowance...
