Default Vortex filter

Where is the best place for a Vortex Engine Breather for the Diesel 75.

Think it is about time I replaced my old standard "Cotton Reel" type.

I got mine from a BM dealer, same as fitted to a 118d.
It was a few years ago, but I remember it wasn't too expensive.

IIRC, it was the plastic insert and a replacement housing lid. Ebay have OE kits at £75, but I'm sure the one I bought from BM was less than that, £30ish I think.

Yeah, it was funny to me.I was going to write that, but wasn't sure of everyone's humour factor.

BUT, you answered the question that was asked, after all. Yes, the cotton ball out, vortex in.

Now it's not a fit and forget bit of kit regardless of what people say. I've saw them crack after two years on cars and if I'm honest every service I wip the inlet off check fuel pipes and double check the breather. For sake of 10 minutes extra it's worth doing.
