Is there any history on this one? Was it a pre production development/test car or just a very early production/demonstrater?

Since it's a LHD model I can only speculate that it's a pre-production test car, But I can't find any evidence to prove it ATM.

I used to look after the locomotives at Longbridge Whilst there I saw dozens of unregistered 75,s and other models which were used internally .Lots were LHD Right area for one of those to have been purchased by a Rover employee.I know some of the cars were sold at very favourable prices. So could well be one of these cars .

Car's no longer in the pub car park. I wonder if it actually has moved to Rugeley? Bit of a risk, doing it without a valid MOT.

Bit of wishful thinking suggesting it wouldn't need road tax.
