I believe that the FBH is set to cut in at 8 degrees Celsius or below. It is a boon in the Winter to get the temperature up. Cannot remember the last time I wore a "car coat", definitely before I owned a 75 CDT

Ach I just nipped outside 5 minutes early in winter whilst tea was brewing, started her up, turned on the seat heat, drank my tea and got in my Bahamas connie.

well as the saying goes if it looks too good to be true it probably is, let me explain.
So my wife gives bith this morning, the seller is aware of this so i go and see the car today. Very tidy from the outside, engine sounds very nice. He has put a real wood trim in, a bit botched but ok, the car smells like its been in the river!! He says no mechanical issues he is aware of. I test drive and within 2 minutes its clear the clutch is shot, any gear and gentle acceleration its slipping like crazy. Driving along the driver footwell fills with water !!
I leave it, but winder is it the clutch or a need for bleeding and where is all that water coming from ??

I saw this one too pikeman, but it was too far away from me to go and see it. Well done on your purchase and impending arrival.

im wondering if it had a new clutch and yet they left say a crankshaft seal that was leaking oil onto the plates.

water could be the heater matrix pipes or as some one said is the drains
