While I don't think for a minute the person will be named, can I ask the mods if this person has been asked to stop selling till this is resolved?

Yes they have, and restrictions placed on them to prevent further items from being listed, until such time as the matter is resolved.

Personally I see no reason why they shouldn't be "Named & Shamed"?
But I suppose it's normal, treating the culprit like a "victim"..... Just not good enough in my book!

Yep, I agree that the 'member' should be 'named & shamed'.
As far as i'm concerned, any club can do without a member that does this sort of thing. There's no way any of the excuses given are genuine & this person could catch another genuine member of this club out !! |

Naming and shaming is a last resort, and we are not there yet with this, when and if the time comes you'll know. In the meantime members are protected from any new 'for sale' posts being listed.

I've started a Paypal claim
Just to keep any interested members upto date....
I tried via pm and text message to contact seller about the "Courier claim forms" not arriving. I got no reply However yesterday I decided to open a paypal case against them...for not receiving the item and claiming a full refund. Today I got this message: As you have opened a dispute PayPal have taken £96.80 from me. I would like the £75.00 returned as your not entitled to it with you starting a dispute. I will let PayPal deal with the issue now. So if you could refund the money today Funny..I'm supposed to act immediately!!!! I will happily refund any monies owed once Paypal credit my account. (I'm I being awkward??) Paul |

Offer him a 75% refund of the refund. He seems to think he deserved 25% of your cash for not sending you anything so you must deserve something for your trouble and all the chasing you have had to do. Might think twice about doing it again if out of pocket. Derek
