Quick Question
Hello
Sorry to post what's probably a simple question (I have searched for the answer with no luck) but do MKII ZT's close the windows and sunroof automatically if left open when you lock it via remote and/or key? Or is this a T4 option or not possible? This was prompted by my friends Vauxhall Astra 2005 3dr coupe which can open and close windows via the remote. Thanks in advance. Anthony. |

If you lock the vehicle with the key and hold it in the lock position the windows will close. Subsequently if you hold the key in the other direction all the windows will open give quicker relief of any heat during the summer. If you car doesnt do this presently it will need activating via T4. hth

Well you beat me Mr Lates but as usual all completely correct!
And if you want to see more about what T4 can do: http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...9344#post19344 Courtesy of Keith. Last edited by JohnDotCom; 28th May 2007 at 21:38.. Reason: Additional Link |

You also need to know that if you do lock the car using the key the deadlock which deactivates the interior door handles, will not be activated nor will the alarm.
Using the key therefore lets you pop into the offy in dodgy areas while leaving your passengers in a locked car but letting them escape should an emergency happen whilst you are away. |
