VIS Valve
I have just had a major service on my ZT and changed the inlet manifold as like some of the other people I had a loud clicking noise coming from it. I picked it up and I still have the same problem even though its not as loud.
What else can be done to eliminate this noise!!! |

Did they change the motors or just put your old motors on the replacement manifold?

Inlet manifold
Gammer, i think from your response you replaced like for like and that would include the motors as to the best of my knowledge the manifolds as a replacement part include them.
My guess is the noise you are referring to is the alternator drive belt which is a known issue! |

To me it sounded like a real rattlely tappit sort of noise and when you rev up it seems to get quicker and louder. Is the alternator drive an expensive job do you know ?
