You can upgrade the navigation disc by buying new ones direct from the manufacturers.
Hardware upgrades are also posible, for example DVD-based systems and widescreen monitors are doable. A number of members on here have done exactly as you want and upgraded their standard equipment. JohnDotCom in particular knows a fair amount about the SatNav stuff and I'm sure he'll spot this thread and be along to advise in due course... |

SatNav Upgrades
ebay is good place to look. The Hi-Line system is the same as used on Land and Range Rover some BMW, some Citroen and others. The maps are Navtech and these can be bought via their website for £104 for 2007 UK and similar [prices for continental ones.

I don't wish to tread on anyones toes but I got my 2006/07 disc off Ebay for less than £20. Appears to work fine, been in cd drive for about a month now with no problems.

Not treading on anybodies toes, no problems.
I just try to help members of club with no access to these with a donation to club, as I purchase OEM packs of 8 discs. Yes some good bargains sometimes on there, but many are Copies unfortuneatly so we musn't condone that on the Forums, it causes to many problems to club. So be careful, generally OK though. |
