I have that gripe as well, AND the oil bottle leaks once opened!! Although the money I saved buying it from Lidl, was lost by buying the wall mounted oiler/filter kit.

I though the swear filter was being a bit sensitive, then looked on Google. Mild swear word, did not know that.

please replace naughty word with "stuff"

There are a couple of sockets that come with the impact wrench, one being 32mm.
I think I may just get the Halfords 1/2 inch drive set as they are smaller sizes and so
I don't think require sockets of a 3/4 inch drive. By this I mean 10 - 22 should undo with a socket for a 1/2 inch drive so I don't need that socket in a 3/4 drive

I'm curious Ian, to operate an average 3/4" rattle gun, you need a compressor with a minimum FAD of 45 CFM.......what on earth do you expect to run this with, or is it an electric model?

Brian

P.S. yes you need what are drop forged sockets, as the broaching in standard chrome vanadium sockets won't withstand the impact pulse

Brian, yes electric. I did have a pneumatic one but did not find it to be very good and running up my compressor (270L tank with 2 x 3hp motors)
is a waste, good for shot blasting however I have also used a pneumatic drill via the compressor for polishing headlights, that worked well

Easy when I used a three foot extension bar on each end of the socket. I tried without; no luck at all except cracking noises from my finger joints.-----

Two new rear discs arriving in tomorrows post. Thankfully I can leave those **&$%^^££*( nuts in peace.---
