Cool

Morning all. Raining in South West Essex. I was hoping to get Banana Spring cleaned but I'll go shopping instead. Made a cracking cottage pie yesterday and there's enough left over for today.

Boy haven't eye tests come along way. 2 hours I spent there yesterday and come out quids lighter. Need new glasses, I suspected my eyesight was getting a bit low.

I'm off to the doctors this morning this morning to see if they will do something about a skin tag which has started to hamper my vision as it is overhanging my left eye lid. I've been told that the NHS no longer remove skin tags, as they are classed as cosmetic and not clinical - we shall see
Good morning Rod, bad luck. I had one of those on my ear. Like yourself, I was told it was cosmetic and I would have to pay a plastic surgeon £750 to take it off and make it good again. I did it myself using a scalpel and a few stitches. It never came back. But with the eye, that’s a different story and one for the experts.

Result - a very young lady doctor (in a miniskirt ) agreed it is clinical, NOT cosmetic, and has referred me to the "eyelid clinic". She suggested they may "shave it off" - yikes

Afternoon all, late on parade today The broadband was playing up this morning (maintenance work! in our area) I've taken dad to another Docs appointment to get new meds as he's got diabetes now after those blood test results plus some shopping, I went to the new...ish Morrisons for a change and by heck they carry a lot of stuff in there, you could spend a fortune in there It's been spitting with rain all morning but nothing more than the light stuff. It was cool this morning but it's warmed up a bit since then.

Early tea, I couldn't wait It's very Yum!

I've had a busy afternoon fettling one of my desktop computers, I've replaced the video card the other day & installed a new (used) hard drive which had the defunct Win 7 on it.

I copied the new Linux Mint (Sylvia) 18.3 onto disc & installed it onto this drive. It's very fast on this older PC & works a treat.

Also trying out some of the new apps (PIX) for uploading pictures which is much easier to follow than the other App I was using.
