Faulty driver's door handle
Hello. Just wondering if anyone has come across the driver's door not being able to open from the inside? It's just happened now at the petrol station. When you pull on the handle normally you can feel the activation of the mechanism, but now now.
It opens ok from the outside, and with the remote central locking. I assume something has broken / come apart from the mechanism Inside the door. I'm not too familiar with these 75's. I don't have a Haynes so not sure what I'm looking for? Thanks. |

There is a cable from the inner door handle to the lock. On the end of the cable, behind the inner pull handle is a cast aluminium block which can break. the cable needs to be replaced (door card off unfortunately!). I'll see if I can find the how to for you.

Thanks mate. I'll have a good luck at those links to see what I'm looking at, or to see if this job's above me.
Don't wanna be paying garage fees for this sort of job. 😞 |
