With the success of the MG6 in touring cars a MG backed one make racing series with the MG3 could prove a good marketing ploy.
Cheers Ian

Couldn't agree more, or maybe they could play football or something with them on Top Gear to raise awareness

It looks erm, nice, but so does every other modern hatchback. Every car produced nowadays looks similar to something else. I feel designers do their market research and find out what most buyers are looking for so the end products will inevitably look similar. Owning a 75 I can't get too excited about it but I guess it will have a widespread appeal to the shall we say 'younger drivers?'

For sure!

I've just seen it on FB. Hopefully it will sell well.

Low insurance group too, should appeal to the younger drivers.

Doesn't matter how well its priced if they don't advertise it and they have a very limited dealer network. I personally think they made a mistake with the single engine (again) with poor emissions and which from a personal review (not me) on .org appears to suggest its slower than 1.4 ZR/25 which itself aint exactly fast. IMHO the front is but ugly, the side so so and the back nice.

Are they assembling it at Longbridge? If so good luck to their UK employee's... if not then I don't really give toss about it as i'm into supporting UK manufacturing jobs not Chinese
