This is one of my favourite clips on the tube. I have always been a big fan of Mr Marshall & Vauxhalls of the 70s & what a combination eh?

i had a 3.3 Ventora around that time, was a decent car as well

I had an FE Victor & a VX1800 but would love either a Ventora or a VX4/90

i remember the overdrive switch on the top of the gear stick, one flick gave you an extra gear

Mmm nice little touch wasn't it? My mate bought a Flying Pig a good few years ago & the O/D didn't work so we fixed it & spent the night driving up & down the A19 playing overdrive in, overdrive out, overdrive in, overdrive out easily pleased I know

and if you had tinkered with the switch on the gearbox, you could get it in every gear not just when the gearstick was in the 3rd/4th train, never used it in 1st though !

It's something else isn't it? it only did a small few races & Gerry stuffed it spectacularly but then they built this with the left overs
