Price of fuel / inflation

Price of fuel is generally coming down but not as fast as it should in some areas.

Just returned from Northern Ireland for work and in mid NI i came across more than one garage selling unleaded fuel at £1.54.9. Our local supermarket in North Midlands is considerably more than that. How come?

The cheapest around here is £1.61.9

I was in the Republic last week and it was a similar price there, once converted from €uros.

£1.72 here with diesel considerably more. Yet diesel is easier and cheaper to make. HMG here!

Petrol has been coming down steadily for the last week or so. Down another 2p today. Diesel hasn’t moved.
