Default Radio code

Hello,
Had to re-connect battery and as common problem here, need now code for the CD80 radio. Well, there is some website or few to check it but they asking me to send radio to them and after day or two they will send it back . Well, it takes time and increase the price (up to £35). I would like to take radio to the local "specialist" to unloock it. Can you recommend anyone in Strood or even Medway area, please

(I already checked all paperwork and radio cover for the code)

Or maybe you recommend to upgrade to some other unit then CD80 ?

Thanks a lot

Patrick

Default Radio Code

Do you have the service history book?

If so, look for the supplying garage of your car when new. Ring them up and ask them for the code - usually stored in their computerised records.

Thats what I did when it happened to me.

Good luck

Yes you right, this could be great. Unfortunately I bought my one without HB/SB. Have just full MOTs. Last owner also faild.
I need to fix clutch, cam belt and A/C to fully enjoy ride, so at the moment trying to save any penny

Buy the way is CD80 worth it this effort? I'm not a big audiofeel but like somethig to play

P.S.
Waiting for tornado any time on south east

Yes you right, this is great thing. Save lot of time, money and patience
One more time big, big THANKS to DAVE (stocktake)

CD Player plays CDs very well, no problems at all, only radio has a problem to catch radio signal but I think I have to buy some mgic box to make it better. I think there is some separate thread about it.

Have a good day all of you!

Patrick
