Default Serpent centrecap badges

Silly question time...
Do the centre cap badges “pop out” if pressed from behind?
Or is it a case of applying a new badge sticker from the front?

I've got some mk1 badges on the wrong centre caps,to put onto my mk1 car,,which originally had the newer but really faded badge centers.
So I'm going to try and warm the badges up with a hair dryer to see if I can carefully remove them and transfer them over.
However if you try this, let me know if it works,,,,

When I had mine refurbed a couple of years back, I got the centre badges off quite easily with some heat from a hair dryer, and then pressing from behind.

Me too, came off quite easy after a minute or two with the hair dryer and push them off with my fingers. Got a nice new set from Jezzer on here.

Thanks folks.
I have “good” badges on my y-spokes that I’d like to put onto the newly refurbished serpents.
Just didn’t want to rush into it, and possibly damage the badge, by using brute force alone.😳

Funny, I was getting to like the y-spokes.

But now I have these, with new Avon’s all round.
