It is interesting, and I have come across a few sites that cause me to return (nothing rude), and our interests vary.

I have been in what I consider a couple of major clubs, which have disappeared due to the fragmentation of the membership. This has come about due to groups of members finding other media for "them and their mates", therefore reducing their visits to the original forums.

The ability to "chin wag" with members and also to find serious information relating to the original interest is great. It's not for everybody, but for some it's a lifeline.
