Default Free original in-car entertainment

Anybody near Manchester who wants the ICE from a 54 plate conny?

I believe it to be a high line sat-nav with TV.

There is the in-dashboard head with screen, cassette, CD unit and radio unit in the boot, Nav unit etc. All the gubbins really.

When I bought the car, which is great, that it did not have ICE did not bother me, but I eventually checked why it seemed defunct.

There was evidence of corrosion on the loom connector plugs (English understatement) but the connections on the units themselves seemed to be ok.

As it did not bother me to not have ICE, I thought I might sort it out someday, but took out a couple of the units from the boot to check that they had not been got at by the corrosion. They were ok, but the pins in the loom plugs on the car were definitely stuffed.

As it is now apparent that I will not be bothering to fix this standard system, I thought somebody in the club might want the bits I am otherwise going to throw away.

Knowing that some bods like to have original equipment, anybody who wants to come along and take the two removed units and the head/CD still bracketed in the car, is welcome by arrangement.

Best wishes, Frank B

Dear Trikey,

a couple of members have already contacted me. As one seems to be local and wants the lot, they are welcome.

Happy Rovering

Best wishes, Frank
