Default My Ding-A-Ling

I found this cable dangling underneath the air intake and battery bay (KV6 engine) :

There are no other connectors in sight where it could fit. Car seems to be perfectly happy to run without it being connected.

What is it, where does it go, and why isn't it being used?

I'm pretty sure it's the traction control plug. The cruise control vacuum throttle actuator doesn't have any plug but the CC vacuum pump plug is located on the other side of the engine bay.
