Thanks a lot....

Bosch KTS will talk to the engine management fine, you will want to change the fuel filter along with the underbonnet fuel pump though

Don't worry, I doubt you will have damaged the engine

So we have

Glow plug relay.....not a problem

Pre delivery fuel pressure too low for starting

CANBUS other ECU

And on this screen

CANBUS other ECU
Glow plug relay
Cooling fan output stage open circuit
Pre delivery fuel pressure
Air flow meter
Inlet air temperature

There is nothing particular to worry about there, your cooling fan doesn't work on the low speed, and the underbonnet fuel pump and filter need to be replaced.

If you suspect the in tank pump to be at fault also, if you ensure there is more than a quarter of a tank of fuel in the car, it can be run this way without a problem for many miles

Best of luck getting it sorted

Brian

Hello,

That's it, I brought my "love" at home ... with the same symptoms but mostly hot in fact.

I hope that I will be able to change the diesel filter and the booster pump alone ...
It's not won ... especially the diesel filter that seems complicated to unscrew ... having no suitable key.

Hello,

I just read the tutorial to change the booster pump to prepare me for the repair of this weekend.
But I have to buy a spare clamp that can be found in any DIY store or special clip?
I do not understand everything with this "clip"

thank you

Brian. I hope the OP takes account of your mention of having sufficient fuel in the tank. ( half being twice as good as a quarter. Lol. )

Preliminary pressure being that from the tank pump I assume.--

If the under bonnet pump is a bit worn-----------------------------well !!

As for the filter. In the old days diesel could sometimes be laden with muck or water. The filter would then need a regular clean or change. Nowadays the fuel seems to be delivered in much better condition.

In this case I would think the filter would be the least of any problems.

Confession------My filter is the original from 2003.----

I bought a non running 75 diesel auto a few years ago and the only reason why it wouldn't start was a blocked fuel filter

Merci merci merci

That's really good news, glad to hear you've got it running again.

So the fuel filter was the problem, no wonder you are angry with the mechanic who diagnosed otherwise.
