Default ZT Update

So I have started to work on my late brother's ZT. Friday I had two new tyres fitted and ordered some new Bosch wipers. I washed, and polished her and had a good look around. She has some lacquer peel on the front bumper and the paint has come off one rear waist trim in places (hope I can find a trophy blue trim for this), but otherwise her body is very good, and she looked really well after the fettle. This afternoon I checked under the bonnet, looking at the plenums, oils, water and so on. All was well apart from a full catch tank I am not sure how to empty, and a brittle and broken pipe to the tank. I've fitted a plenum guard and gave under there a quick clean, but in the summer it deserves a proper going over!

The to do list so far is:

Tyre protectors
Paintwork
Rear light seals as someone has put sealant on around the plastic! (Paul ordered the seals, but we don't know where he put them!)
A couple of badges (He ordered these, again we can't find them!)
Bonnet cable mod
Underseal
Clean headlights
Belts due end of next year
Small seat repair as material has split in a weird fashion!

Not a big list so far! Here are some pics...

Dawn.
I would be careful of having Tom post out the trim, as when you receive it unless packed really well the post or couriers will damage it.

Regarding the catch tank undo the two hose via the jubilee clips then undo the to Allen key bolts holding it to the bracket, once off the car undo the cap on top and empty it.

Have you double check those sills yet

No gaz its the little pipe on the actual catch tank that dropped to bits. It runs top to bottom into push connectors. Not sure what it does!

Steve the sills are shockingly perfect! I need to get something in them to keep them that way! I thought that was what I had to do with the tank. I shall polish it while off as well! Thank you. Tom is hoping to drop the trim off, fingers crossed!

The small tube that runs top to bottom of the tank is a visual aid to show you how much fluid the tank has collected. Due to the fact the pipe is missing the tank is empty
